This is Mason and me last weekend mowing the pastures. He joined me at the end of my mowing, and we need to get him new hearing protection that stays on his head, as his plugs kept falling out. I have to say I really get in a zen zone when out in my tractor. I put on my music and just love the smell of fresh cut grass and the view of the surrounding farms. It only takes a couple of hours when I do it, and it’s not more than a few times during the summer but I love it.

So today we had 10 yards of good soil delivered to put in the new beds that Chris built me last weekend. I am looking forward to the weather turning back from super humid to “spring like” weather per the weather man, for the next three days! That is such a welcoming thing to hear when we are moving dirt, finishing our planting, and doing some chicken coop work this weekend.
